Terms & Conditions - 2023

Bookings may be made by phone or email and will only be Confirmed on receipt of a deposit of £100 ( non-refundable) if the booking is made 6 weeks before your holiday. The full tariff is payable if reservation is made less than 6 weeks before your holiday and for Short Stay Bookings. The Deposit is payable within 7 days of the email or telephone booking. Cheques should be made payable to Anne Dawson or to make a Bank Transfer please ask for further details. For overseas visitors the payment should be made by Sterling Bank Transfer.

Sorry - we do not accept credit cards.

On receipt of the deposit, Confirmation will be forwarded by post or by email and on receipt of the balance, 6 weeks before the start of the holiday, acknowledgment will be sent along with directions for finding the cottage.

In the event of cancellation the deposit will be non-refundable. For cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to the holiday, the balance payment of the holiday is non-refundable unless  re-letting of the cottage is successful. We strongly advise that you obtain comprehensive insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation.

Where due to unforeseen circumstances, the cottage becomes unavailable, the owners reserve the right to cancel and refund the money paid.

To allow for the changeover of guests, the cottage will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and we ask that it is vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Please let us know of any breakages so that we can repair or replace before arrival of next guests.

We would be grateful if guests would provide an approximate arrival time a day or so before.

The cottage facilities are not suitable for children

No pets except assistance dogs

Little Barnfield has a No Smoking policy including E cigarettes.

Electric Vehicles. Domestic chargers commonly known as a "granny charger" or "trickle charger" are not suitable for use in Little Barnfield and will create a fire hazard. For insurance purposes the use of domestic chargers is strictly forbidden.
