Kineton is a quiet hamlet tucked away in the North Cotswolds and nestling in the upper reaches of the infant River Windrush with its old, stone clapper bridge.
The area is locally know as "The Guitings" and Kineton sits midway between Guiting Power - which has a bakery, shop, coffee shop, church and two pubs and Temple Guiting with its imposing church, dating back to the Knights Templars. Temple Guiting also has its own delightful shop and tea room.
This cottage rental, is surrounded by miles of glorious walking and cycling country. For seasoned walkers there's a wealth of footpaths, bridleways and leafy country lanes for you to explore and leading from the cottage doorstep.
It's just a short drive from Little Barnfield to many of the well known, honey-coloured limestone villages and market towns with their intriguing names, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Stow on the Wold and Winchcombe.
Fine historic houses and castles, beautiful gardens and plenty of teashops, makes the Cotswolds a place to visit all year round.
